Teaching: I have been a Communication Studies Professor and Director of Debate at Rocky Mountain College since August of 2006. I teach courses in argumentation, debate, organizational communication, public speaking and small group communication. I also teach at specialized debate forums with the International Debate Education Association and conduct debate training workshops all over the state of Montana.
Current Grant Work I received a grant to integrate debate education with the Tribal Colleges in Montana. I am currently working with Blackfeet Community College in Browning, Chief Dullknife Community College in Lame Deer and Little Bighorn Community College in Crow Agency.
Current Research: I am exploring the argumentative tactics that have been used to introduce Creationism and Intelligent Design into the public school classroom. I am exploring the similarities between the argumentative tactics of Creation Science and Intelligent Design.
